yeah really sorry about that I just dont frequent my page that much anymore. But what a great series and now its almost football season...can you say 7 Super Bowl trophies!!! Ohhh yeah I feel sooooo bad for Hossa lol.

The Detroit Lions can't say ANY (and the term is "Lombardi" trophies, not Super Bowl trophies), just like the Pens can't say 11 Stanley Cups, only 3.

And Hossa did what he thought was right. Not all the decisions we make are brought under such scrutiny and displayed before thousands of people. That's a boatload of pressure. He came within one game of being right. It's not like he had any loyalty to the Pens, who picked him up as a rent-a-player in March of last year for a playoff run. He's a man in search of a championship, not a paycheck.

Yeah lets see what Mr. Gun-for-Hire (and that dont mean going with the highest bidder) does this year in free agency (wanna bet he goes for the pay check lol). He rolled the dice for one year knowing he had a BIG paycheck coming in free agency in 2010, comon lol. And I think they stopped calling it "The Lombardi Trophy" after what SBII???(Green Bays last hurrah!!!).

But anywho thanks and we can always hope for a re-match next year.

No. It's called the Lombardi Trophy. To this day. And, if memory serves, Green Bay's been in a couple of Super Bowl's since II, winning one and losing one.

And yeah. Next year. Best two out of three!

Didn't hear much from you after the Wings won the Cup last year! Game 7 tonight! I say we should make a friendly wager...I'll post a pic for the Penguins should the Wings all come down with Sheep Rot and lose Game 7, and you can post a pic for the Wings should Cindy Crosby not show up (again!), and the Pens lose! Huh? Whaddaya say?! :D

All in good fun, though, bud! It's been a helluva series! :)
